• 10% on dining, food delivery, groceries, shopping and utility bills

Things that catch people out

• The 10% is capped at ₹1,200 a month across all five categories together.
• HSBC's shopping category includes some in-store shopping, which we do not count, so heavy in-store shoppers may earn a little more than shown.
• HSBC's worked example shows fuel earning nothing.
• HSBC says exclusions apply to the 1.5% rate but does not list them on the card page.
