Things that catch people out

• American Express does not publish what a Membership Rewards point is worth, so this card is not ranked.
• No points on fuel, insurance or utilities.
• From 1 October 2026 lounge visits need ₹70,000 of spend in the previous quarter, rising to ₹1 lakh.
