Things that catch people out

• HDFC Bank says “up to 2.5%”, which is the catalogue value of ₹0.25. As cashback at ₹0.20 it is 2%, which is what we use.
• We assume half of your spending in these categories is at the five brands.
• HDFC Bank’s terms cap the 10X rate at 2,500 CashPoints (₹500) a month.
• No CashPoints on fuel, EMI, rent, government payments, wallet loads or vouchers.
