Things that catch people out

• Points are worth ₹1 each on flights and hotels booked through HDFC Bank SmartBuy. Tell us you redeem for travel and we use that value; otherwise we use the cashback value.
• Diners Club cards are not accepted everywhere in India.
• The quarterly bonus is counted only for spending of ₹16 lakh a year, spread evenly.
